Do Not Eat Dory Fish - Pangas!

Think twice before ordering cheap fish 'n chips? Be careful when you buy fish and chips.

It is called Sutchi and I saw many housewives snatching up the fish at supermarkets as they are really reasonably priced. ?The fish looks good but read the article and you will be shocked.

My colleague who deals with seafood confirmed that this is true. ?This product is from Vietnam and unless you know the right supplier which most of us won't, so be safe!

Sutch! i is sold in Singapore supermarkets and I've got a stinking feeling its the same thing!

To be 100% sure that we're not eating Pangas, better not order fish n chips when eating out!!

Do you eat this frozen fish called Pangas ?
( Pangasius, Vietnamese River Cobbler, White Catfish, Gray Sole ) ?

Industrially farmed in Vietnam along the Mekong River , Pangas or whatever they're calling it, has only been recently introduced to the French market. However, in a very short amount of time, it has grown in popularity in France . The French are slurping up Pangas like it's their last meal of soup noodles. They are very, very affordable (cheap), are sold in filets with no bones and they have a neutral (bland) flavor and texture; many would compare it to cod and sole, only much cheaper. But as tasty as some people may find it, there's, in fact, something hugely unsavory about it. I hope the information provided here will serve as very important information for you and your future choices. Here's why I think it is better left in the shops (and not on your dinner plates):

1. Pangas are teeming with high levels of poisons and bacteria. ( industrial effluents, arsenic, and toxic and hazardous by-products of the growing industrial sector, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), DDT and its metabolites (DDTs), metal contaminants, chlordane-related compounds (CHLs), hexachlorocyclohexane isomers (HCHs), and hexachlorobenzene (HCB).
The reasons are that the Mekong River is one of the most polluted rivers on the planet and this is where pangas are farmed and industries along the river dump chemicals and industrial waste directly into it. To Note: a friend lab tests these fish and tells us to avoid eating them due to high amounts of contamination. Regardless of the reports and recommendations against selling them, the supermarkets still sell them to the general public knowing they are contaminated.

2. They freeze Pangas in contaminated river water..

3. Pangas are not environmentally sustainable, a most unsustainable food you could possibly eat - 'Buy local' means creating the least amount of environmental harm as possible. This is the very opposite end of the spectrum of sustainable consumerism. Pangas are raised in Vietnam . Pangas are fed food that comes from Peru ( more on that below ), their hormones ( which are injected into the female Pangas ) come from China . ( More about that below ) and finally, they are transported from Vietnam to France . That's not just a giant carbon foot print, that's a carbon continent of a foot print.

4. There's nothing natural about Pangas - They're fed dead fish remnants and bones, dried and ground into a flour, from South America , manioc ( cassava ) and residue from soy and grains. This kind of nourishment doesn't even remotely resemble what they eat in nature. But what it does resemble is the method of feeding mad cows ( cows were fed cows, remember? ). What they feed pangas is completely unregulated so there are most likely other dangerous substances and hormones thrown into the mix. The pangas grow at a speed light ( practically! ) : 4 times faster than in nature…so it makes you wonder what exactly is in their food? Your guess is as good as mine.

5. Pangas are Injected with Hormones Derived from Urine - I don't know how someone came up with this one out but they've discovered that if they inject female Pangas with hormones made from the dehydrated urine of pregnant women, the female Pangas grow much quicker and produce eggs faster ( one Panga can lay approximately 500,000 eggs at one time ). Essentially, they're injecting fish with hormones ( they come all of the way from a pharmaceutical company in China ) to speed up the process of growth and reproduction. That isn't good. Some of you might not mind eating fish injected with dehydrated pee, so if you don't, good for you, but just consider the rest of the reasons to NOT eat it..

6. You get what you pay for - and then some. Don't be lured in by insanely cheap price of Pangas. Is it worth risking your health and the health of your family?

7. Buying Pangas supports unscrupulous, greedy evil corporations and food conglomerates that don't care about the health and well-being of human beings. They only are concerned about selling as many pangas as possible to unsuspecting consumers. These corporations only care about selling and making more money at whatever cost to the public..

8. Pangas will make you sick - If ( for reasons in #1 above ) you don't get immediately ill with vomiting, diarrhea and effects from severe food poisoning, congratulations, you have an iron stomach! But you're still ingesting POISON not poisson.

Final important note: Because of the prodigious amount of availability of Pangas, be warned that they will certainly find their way into other foods: surimi ( those pressed fish things, imitation crab sticks ), fish sticks, fish terrines, and probably in some pet foods. ( Warn your dogs and cats and hamsters and gerbils and even your pet fish! )

So, when you do your next round of shopping of frozen fish or eating out at cafes / food stalls by choosing fish-&-chips, think twice !!
You have been warned !!!

A hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) is a hybrid vehicle that combines a conventional propulsion system with a rechargeable energy storage system (RESS) to achieve better fuel economy than a conventional vehicle. Its secondary propulsion system, additional to the electric motors, means that it does not require regular visits to a charging unit as a battery electric vehicle (BEV) does.

Modern mass-produced HEVs prolong the charge in their batteries by capturing kinetic energy by means of regenerative braking, and some HEVs can use the internal combustion engine (ICE) to generate electricity by spinning an electrical generator (often a motor-generator) to either recharge the battery or directly feed power to an electric motor that drives the vehicle. Many HEVs reduce idle emissions by shutting down the ICE at idle and restarting it when needed (start-stop system). An HEV's engine is smaller than a non-hybrid petroleum fuel vehicle and may be run at various speeds, providing greater efficiency.

HEVs became widely available to the public in the late 1990s with the introduction of the Honda Insight and Toyota Prius, and are viewed by some automakers as a core segment of the future automotive market.[2] Futurist magazine recently included hybrid electric vehicles as cars of the near future.[3] Worldwide sales of Toyota and Lexus hybrids reached 1.7 million vehicles by January 2009. "Tapi, memang orang perempuan kuat merajuk. jenuh kita nak layan dia."

"Merajuk bukan berlaku pada orang perempuan saja. Orang lelaki juga kuat merajuk. Mungkin cara merajuk atau cara protes tu yang tak sama.

Orang perempuan itu sifat semula jadinya penyayang. Perasaannya halus. Kerana adanya sifat-sifat itu, orang perempuan boleh sabar menjaga dan melayan anak-anaknya yang berbagai kerenah. Sebuah cerita sedih, cam ni cerite nye...Pada suatu hari.. seorang lelaki nama nya Atan (bukan nama sebenar) bercadang nak pegi beli rokok...oleh kerana transport die cume moto jer..die pon pegilah naik moto. Tapi mamat ni ade satu hobi.. die ni suke benor bawak moto lelaju walaupon jarak kedai tu 100 meter jer dari umah die..maka si atan ni pon memulakan la pejalanan untuk ke kedai. Sebelom kuar dari rumah, mak die pesan, "Atan, bawak moto bebaik. mak rase tak sedap ati jer la" Atan pon menjawab, "ala mak ni...Atan kan superman, takkan ader paper nyer. Lagi pon, Atan cume nak gi kedai sebelah tu jer..kannyer jauh sgt pon". Mak die pon menjawab, "suke ati ko lah tan..." Kunci moto pon di pulas...vrommmmm(bunyi moto atan) dengan gaya supermannyer Atan bergerak dari umah. Tiba tiba sampai di suatu selekoh, seekor beruk yang entah dari maner munculnyer menyergah Atan. Apa lagi terperanjat beruk la si Atan....maka dia hilang kawalan ke atas moto nyer dan menyebabkan die terlanggar tiang lampu berdekatan. maka Atan pon jatuh terpelanting.. dan tidak sedarkan diri.. Secara kebetulan seorang pakcik (boleh jadik pangkat atuk la utk Atan) lalu di jalan tersebut..pakcik itu sungguh terkejut kerana melihat seekor monyet sedang cube mencurik helmet si atan lalu pakcik itu menghalau monyet tersebut. Tetapi helmet itu tidak dapat diselamatkan kerana telah di bawa lari oleh monyet itu. Tanpa melengah kan masa, pakcik itu pon pergi kepada Atan dan memeriksa jantung dan nadi si Atan.."uihh nampaknye idup lagi budak ni.."tapi alangkah terkejutnya pakcik itu apabila mendapati kepala Atan sudah terpusing 180 darjah, makna nya dah terbalik......dan tanpa bertanya dan berpikir ape-apa pakcik tu pon terus membetul kan semula kepala Atan dengan menyentap balik ke 180 darjah.. Tibe-tiba pakcik itu mendapati Atan tidak bernafas lagi. Rupe-rupenye.. korang nak tau? Atan memakai jeket kulitnye terbalik. So memang la kepala die cam pusing ke belakang. Maka dengan tidak bersalah nya Atan mati di tangan pakcik tersebut.

Pemuda : Baguslah ternakan biri-biri pakcik. Boleh
saya tanya beberapa soalan tak?

Pakcik : Boleh aje...

Pemuda : Yang putih.

Pakcik : Kalau yang putih berjalan lebih kurang enam

Pemuda : Berapa banyak plak rumput biri-biri ni makan
setiap hari?

rumput setiap hari.

Pemuda : Dan yang hitam?

Pakcik : Yang hitam pun sama...

Pemuda : Berapa banyak bulu yang mereka hasilkan
setiap tahun?

Pakcik : Yang mana, yang putih atau yang hitam?

Pemuda : Yang putih?

Pakcik : Aaa...yang putih menghasilkan sekitar enam
kilo bulu setiap tahun.

Pemuda : Dan yang hitam?

Pakcik : Yang hitam pun sama...

Pemuda : Kenapa pakcik membezakan biri-biri pakcik yg
putih dgn yg hitam, padahal jawapan semuanya sama aje?

Pakcik : Mestilah...sebab biri-biri yang putih itu
pakcik yang punya.

Pemuda : Ooo, gitu ke...abis tu yang hitam tu sapa
punya?

Pakcik : Yang hitam pun sama....

Seorang gadis yang Bahasa Ingerisnya kacau-bilau... suatu hari terlanggar
seorang pelancong US ketika berjalan2 di The Mall.

LEGEND OF ROCK....shit...!

Aku tidak pasti dengan perkara ini kerana aku tidak pernah bermain games Guitar Hero. Tetapi kepada mereka yang memiliki games Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock cuba perhatikan betul-betul pada games tersebut, dan sekiranya benar ia menghina kalimah Allah, aku cadangkan bakar sahaja games itu.



Tidak cukup dengan karikatur dan filem pendek Fitna yang menghina kesucian Islam. Datang pula game komputer yang menghina kalimah Allah SWT. Kali ini game Guitar Hero 3 telah menghina kalimah Allah SWT. Guitar Hero 3 adalah permainan komputer yang memainkan lagu-lagu rock klasik.


Lihatlah bagaimana paparan kalimah Allah ini telah dijadikan paparan lantai dan kemudian dipijak oleh makhluk yang berupa "syaitan" bermain gitar. Sungguh biadap game ini. Game ini dibangunkan oleh syarikat Neversoft dan dikeluarkan oleh Activision dan RedOctane. Neversoft adalah sebuah syarikat pembangunan video game yang berpangkalan di Amerika Syarikat. Dipunyai oleh Joel Jewett (berasal dari Montana, Amerika) bersama dengan Chris Ward dan Mick West. Chris dan Mick kedua-duanya berasal dari Yorkshire, England.


Jika kita tidak teliti, kita tidak akan perasan paparan kalimah Allah SWT ini. Pada sesiapa yang melihat permainan komputer ini sila uninstall game ini. Sungguh halus permainan golongan Yahudi dan Nasara untuk menyesatkan orang Islam. Waspadalah kita sebelum membeli mana-mana permainan komputer.

Entah mcm maner la aku dpt cite nih...x ingat dah...tp yang aku ingat lwk nih aku jumpa/dengar pas smbyag Jumaat kat Masjid Kolam air...haha

Ader satu rondaan polis sedang membuat road-block kat persimpangan lampu isyarat....pastu ngn selamber nyer budak2 mat rempit pon pecut...ader yg lps, ader yg kene cekup, ader gak yang masuk longkang sambil hirup air milo (time tu hujan...air keruh).....habis ler kira2 15 bijik motor tersadai kat tepi lampu isyarat tuh....

nak dijadikn citer....ader mamat india sorang nih kener tahan sebab x pasang lampu...dah le time tu hujan pastu nk senje... "konfirm kene tahan yer arr...." kata mamat tgh bwk kete kancil kude tuh sambil hembus asap rokok....

Maka, en Saleh (inpekter polis) tahan dier.....pastu dia sound macha nih..."dey macha, apa pasal x da pasang lampu???", dengan garang...

Si mamat india nih pon dengan selamba kuda + motor EX5 silver biru

....dier ckp "Apa lampu2, sudah byk, sana lampu, situ lampu, sini lampu (dituding jarinyer ke lampu isyarat, lampu jalan ngn lampu keter sebelah dan termasuk lampu suluh inspekter tuh) ....mmg kurang asam tul!!....

Pastu dengan hangin nyer inspector tuh...dier kuarkan test pen (kebetulan ader dlm poket sebab baru beli nk repair plag kat rumah rosak) dier tikam tayar motor EX5 silver biru macha nih...

Inspecter polis tuh ngan loyar buruk ngn bangga lak JWB!!, " Apa susah, sana angin, situ angin, sini angin"....jawabnyer sambil menuding jari kat angin yg tengah bertiup sepoi2 bahasa, tempias angin pas kete lalu tepi jalan ngn si macha yang tgh naik 'ANGIN'......wakakakkakaka

Agong conferred honorary doctorate

PUTRAJAYA: Yang diPertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin was conferred an honorary doctorate by Queen’s University, Belfast, Northern Ireland, for his support of higher education and for Malaysia’s links with the university over the last 50 years.

Queen’s University President and Vice-Chancellor Prof Peter Gregson conferred the doctorate on Tuanku Mizan in a ceremony at Istana Melawati here on Tuesday.

It is the first time in its 160-year history that the university has conferred an honorary doctorate on a reigning monarch.

Present were Deputy Higher Education Minister Datuk Idris Haron and the university’s alumni including Pasir Salak Member of Parliament Tan Sri Ramli Ngah Talib, Gua Musang MP Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah and ex-Gerakan president Tun Dr Lim Keng Yaik.

Queen’s University is a member of the prestigious Russell Group of top 20 research-intensive universities in Britain.

Currently there are more than 120 Malaysian students studying at the university.

Prof Gregson said this was a truly momentous day for Queen’s University and one that reinforced the special relationship between Malaysia and Northern Ireland.

“Queen’s welcomes the support the Agong gives to this special relationship and we are keen to further develop this bond for the mutual benefit of both countries,” he said. -- Bernama
